Emma, born and raised in Massachusetts. Graduated from Rhode Island College in 2017 with a double major in Nursing and Psychology. She moved to Colorado in March 2018, and works as a nurse at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Emma fell in love with barre in 2015 when she started tucking at Studio Barre Newport, RI. She was so excited that a Studio Barre had just opened in Colorado right before she moved, and started tucking at SBHR shortly after. She believes Studio Barre is the best place to fall in love with exercise; there is nothing better than getting your booty kicked with a supportive, and motivating community!
Meet Malachi! After spending most of her life in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Malachi made the move to Colorado in 2019! While exploring the new state, she was excited to meet new people who had a healthy and positive mindset. That is where she discovered Studio Barre, the perfect combination of both! She joined the studio as a Barre-ista in August and couldn’t be happier to be a part of the SB family! When not at the barre, Malachi spends her time reading, drinking coffee, studying, and looking for her next new challenge!

born and raised in san diego, vanessa is a former cheerleader, gymnast, and horseback rider. she started taking classes at shannon higgins’ studio in 2010 and fell in love with barre the minute she tried it. she left san diego in 2009 to get her degree in veterinary science at the university of arizona but would come home and tuck whenever she could. after graduating, she realized that she wanted to change her path, and set out to become a barre instructor and eventual studio owner. she moved to north carolina in 2014 and became a barre instructor for 2 barre studios. it was during this time that shannon announced she would be franchising studio barre. vanessa knew that she was meant to own a studio barre and made that her next goal.
after 4 years of working different jobs and searching for a space to open, vanessa and her fiance brad settled on the denver metro area for opening a studio, finding the perfect space in highlands ranch! she opened her doors in february 2018 and loves that she can focus on her passion of teaching the best barre technique out there!
outside of the barre, vanessa enjoys spending time outside with her fiance, hitting the beach in her hometown of san diego, and trying out new restaurants in denver!
